  • 100 Days of School

    It was truly a sight to behold as our students, from the youngest 2-year-olds to our dedicated teachers, came dressed as if they were 100 years old. The creativity and effort put into the costumes were remarkable, making it a memorable day for everyone. This wonderful celebration not only brought smiles and laughter to our school community but also recognized and honored the days our students have spent learning and growing together.

    Our students delved into the vibrant world of Lunar New Year through traditional crafts, learning the elegant art of fan dancing, cooking delicious tang yuan, and exploring how this significant holiday is celebrated across Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures.   • Trunk or Treat!

    Our Trunk and Treat event itself was nothing short of spectacular, and it is all thanks to the enthusiastic participation of our wonderful parent community. The costumes worn by both students and adults were a sight to behold! We saw a delightful array of characters, with some truly ingenious homemade costumes that showcased your creativity and spirit.
  • Hispanic Heritage Day!

    Frontiers Academy celebrates Hispanic Heritage Day. It was a day filled with excitement, learning, and genuine appreciation for the rich tapestry of Hispanic culture.

    Our students enthusiastically participated in a variety of activities that were both fun and educational. From engaging in crafts that showcased their creativity to playing soccer with gusto, it was a joy to see them immerse themselves wholeheartedly. The salsa dancing lesson added rhythm to their steps and smiles to their faces. And the quesadilla lunch was nothing short of a culinary delight!
  • School Elections

    Frontiers Academy had our school elections for President and Secretary. It was truly wonderful to see our young citizens actively participating in this democratic process, which closely mirrored real-life elections. Our student went through the complete process (all voluntarily): from registering, receiving their ballot, making an informed decision, casting their vote, and proudly wearing their “I voted” sticker. Such experiences not only impart the value of democracy and responsibility but also pave the way for our students to be informed and active citizens in the future. Given the enthusiasm and commitment shown by our students, we look forward to making this an annual tradition for years to come. 
  • 4th Grade Egg Crash Experiment!

    Our students worked in small groups to design and construct a contraption using various recycled materials to protect a raw egg from a crash! 
  • Happy Mid-Autumn Festival

    The school was aglow with cultural festivities- from crafting unique lanterns to shaping signature Frontiers Academy mooncakes. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the surprise at the day’s end. Our talented teachers put together a captivating play recounting the legend behind the Mid-Autumn Festival. It was not only educational but thoroughly entertaining. Many of our students also joined the festivities by dressing in traditional attire, adding to the authenticity and beauty of the day
  • Environmental Nature Center- Field Trip

    Our students had an amazing time:
    -Exploring various habitats on a hike
    -Learning about pollinators through a fun game
    -Discovering the benefits of biodiversity
    -Getting up close with a snake
    -Exploring erosion and landform changes

  • Gold Coast Farm Field Trip

    Our 4th and 5th grade students had a wonderful time on their field trip to the Gold Coast Farm, where they learned how sustainable agriculture works!

  • Spring Festival of the Arts

    During our Spring Festival of the Arts students had were able to showcase their works of art! We are proud of our growing arts program and the progress our students are making.
  • STEAM Day!

    Frontiers Academy held our first official STEAM Day, which began with 5 parents sharing their specialties in the STEAM field. It was an inspirational time, and we look forward to having many more parents share in the coming year.
  • Chinese Spelling Bee

    Frontiers Academy held our first Chinese Spelling Bee. Winners from the Dictation category competed in writing out Chinese characters in the correct stroke order. We congratulate all the finalists for their hard work studying the words and we look forward to next year’s Chinese Spelling Bee. 
  • ECE- Preschool Earth Day Activities

    Our ECE students enjoyed a dramatic “hike” through different habitats, encountering live animals along the way presented by the Environmental Nature Center.
  • Elementary Field Trip to Crystal Cove State Beach

    Elementary students enjoyed their day at Crystal Cove State Park, where they learned about the devastation of the marine environment due to pollution and encouraged students to analyze their own actions and brainstorm solutions to the marine debris problem.
  • Field trip

    Our Grades 4 – 5 went on their first field trip to the Missions of San Juan Capistrano as it aligned with one of their Social Studies units. This school year, our goal is to connect field trips and classroom learning and curriculum. These field trips are excellent opportunities to provide students with experiences beyond the four walls of their classroom. Our students returned to school excited about the connections they have made and expressed how meaningful the day had been. We plan to provide these opportunities to other grade levels throughout the spring. We thank all our parent volunteer drivers who have made this field trip possible. 
  • Happy Lunar New Year

    We had a blast celebrating Lunar New Year. This year, we enjoyed Chinese cultural activities and learned more about how our Vietnamese and Korean families celebrate the Lunar New Year. It was great fun for everyone as we welcome the Year of the Rabbit. We thank FAPA and all parent volunteers for taking the time to support this event and serving the schoolwide Chinese meal everyone enjoyed.
